Crochet Club at Dormick Park

Crochet Club

Crochet Club
Crochet Club will run from April 13th to May 26th on Mondays and Tuesdays during lunch from 12:20–12:50. It is a fun and welcoming space for Grade 4 and 5 students to explore creativity, learn new skills, and connect with friends. The club offers a relaxed environment where students can take part at their own pace. Crochet is not only a creative hobby, but it also helps develop fine motor skills, patience, and focus.

Students will learn the basics of crochet, such as how to hold a hook and create simple stitches. As they build confidence, they can work on small projects like dishcloths, bracelets, bookmarks, or simple decorations.

All materials are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own yarn or crochet hooks if they prefer. Whether they are complete beginners or already have some experience, everyone is encouraged to join and enjoy crafting together!
